Path-Away® and its family of products all consist of a broad-spectrum group of naturally occurring plant-based substances. Path-Away® is an extremely potent and effective broad spectrum anti-microbial compound. It is environmentally safe with a very low toxicity, especially compared to its competitors. It has been tested, proven and approved by numerous laboratories and agencies on a global scale.
Path-Away® and its family of products are the result of years of research leading to our proprietary plant based active ingredients. The products and process are wholly owned by Global Infection Control Consultants LLC, a Bluffton, South Carolina, USA based company. At various dilutions tested between 0.5% and 5.0%, Path-Away® has proved to be highly efficacious against a wide variety of pathogens and is 100% soluble in water.
Path-Away® has all components listed as GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) under the Code of Federal and FDA Regulations as 21 CFR 182.20, 21 CFR 182.3013 and 21 CFR 184.1540. Path-Away® has been tested for safety in numerous applications, including but not limited to agriculture, poultry, equine, textile, medical marijuana, and virtually all residential and commercial-type indoor environments with noteworthy success. Path-Away® is considered non-toxic and a non-irritant at dilutions up to 5%.
Path-Away® is also considered non-corrosive. Ingredients are FDA compliant. Path-Away® is biodegradable according to the "Standard Test Methods for Determining the Anaerobic Biodegradation Potential of Organic Chemicals," ASTM Standards, Section 11, Water and Environmental Technology, Procedure E 1196-2, pp. 879-901,1993. Path-Away® is BioGro Certified Organic, Non-GMO, IFOAM certified and meets or exceeds all requirements of MPI-OOAP-USDA; MPI-OOAP-EU; MPI-OOAP-Taiwan, JAS Japan Standards 2009; NM.Z. EPA HRS10058-10059; USA EPA Exempt FIFRA 25 California Section 6147; European Community Approval (E) numbers; USA EPA 40 CFR 152.25(b)(g)(1)(4A). Path-Away® has undergone and passed rigorous USP-51 testing procedures as standardized by USPA, “United States Pharmacopeia”.
All water used in the Path-Away® line of products is produced by steam distillation. All water products are tested in periodically and samples are sent to nationally certified labs for additional testing. Annual Water Quality reports are available for all water products that contain the results for each of the contaminates tested. You'll find that all water products produced that go into the Path-Away® line of Phytoceuticals meet or exceed all requirements defined by both the IBWA (International Bottled Water Association) and the FDA.

Summary & Conclusions
Lengthy studies under varying conditions on a global scale with Path-Away® also indicate that this product poses excellent anti-fungal activity as well as antibacterial and anti-parasitic properties. This should also be kept in mind when considering the attributes of this product. It has great potential as an All-Purpose Remedial Solution due to its previously determined low toxicity as well as its global approvals. The data in this report has been studied in numerous laboratories both domestic and abroad, which are available upon request.
Recommendations will be made as to the appropriate dilution of Path-Away® that should be used in any specific application, depending on the market segment function through consultation directly with our home office. Additional studies are currently underway to better identify various applications and treatments best suited for the product/family of products. As a natural plant based antimicrobial solution, Path-Away® has been tested for safety in agriculture, poultry, equine, textile, medical marijuana, and various indoor environments with noteworthy success.
